A quiet, tended garden space

Our Story

Tending to What Matters, Together

Estavia was founded in Bangkok with a quiet conviction: that bringing order to life's important papers should not feel frightening or rushed. We create educational spaces where that work can happen gently.

How We Began

A Small Idea in a Bangkok Living Room

Estavia grew out of a simple observation: many people in Bangkok — long-term residents and new arrivals alike — had spent years meaning to sort their documents and have those important family conversations, but never quite found the right moment or the right setting to do it.

Our founders, who had each navigated the practical complexity of supporting ageing parents across different countries, wanted to fill a gap. Not as lawyers or financial advisors — they were very clear on that — but as educators and organisers who could offer a calm, structured space for the work that often gets put off.

The name Estavia carries that intention. It suggests a place to rest a moment, look clearly at what you have, and tend it thoughtfully. Nothing here is urgent. Everything here is yours to work through at your own pace.

Our Mission

Clear Purpose, Careful Boundaries

Estavia's mission is to make the process of organising important personal information accessible, un-intimidating, and genuinely useful — while staying within the boundaries of general education and practical facilitation.

We do not give individual advice. We do not prepare documents. We do not tell you what decisions to make. What we do is walk alongside you as you sort through what you already have, note where things are kept, and find words for conversations you want to have with family.

When situations call for a solicitor, a financial planner, or an official Thai government body, we say so clearly — and we help you understand what kind of professional you might look for.

How We Work

Our Standards & Commitments

Scope Transparency

We are always clear about what we offer and what we do not. Every session begins with a brief scope note so participants know exactly what kind of support they are receiving.

Discretion & Privacy

What participants share in sessions remains within those sessions. We handle all personal information in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable Thai data protection norms.

Referral-First Culture

Whenever a situation calls for professional expertise — legal, financial, or medical — we say so promptly and help participants understand where to look for the right qualified support.

Participant Wellbeing

Group sizes are kept deliberately small. Facilitators are trained to recognise when a participant needs a quiet moment and to ensure no one feels pressured to share more than they wish to.

Cultural Sensitivity

Bangkok is home to a wonderfully varied community. Our materials and facilitation approach are designed to be respectful and relevant across different cultural backgrounds and family structures.

Ongoing Improvement

We gather feedback after every session and review our guides periodically to ensure they remain accurate, clear, and genuinely useful. We are always learning, too.

Our Approach

Education, Organisation, Community

Estavia sits at the intersection of three things that rarely come together in one place: practical document organisation, guided family conversation facilitation, and an ongoing peer community built around calm reflection. Each of these elements supports the others.

Participants who have attended a Peace of Mind workshop often find that the simple act of sorting their papers opens up conversations they had been quietly putting off for years. The Document Inventory session gives those conversations a concrete anchor — a clear record of what exists and where it lives. The Reflection Membership keeps that momentum alive, offering a monthly space to revisit questions as life continues to unfold.

None of this requires any prior knowledge. You do not need to have your affairs in order before you arrive. You simply need to be curious enough to begin — and we will take it from there, one unhurried step at a time.
